An amazing transformation has been achieved on this unwanted silver serving platter that was once an awards trophy and was discarded. Now lovingly repurposed with a fresh makeover that has transformed this ugly duckling into a beautiful swan.
This vintage platter has been painted in cream with gilding applied to highlight the details of the design around the outer edges. The centre of the platter features French inspired rice paper and pearl embellishments and was sealed in Epoxy Resin for added durability.
The platter is approx. 38 cm in diameter and weighs 3.7 kg.
